I wrote this big long spiel about why I haven't written, and what has been going on, and then I decided that no one really needs to read that, so I am just putting up some pictures and going to bed! Wouldn't want Santa to catch me awake! :)

Provo Halloween Half Marathon

I know that I will forever be "one-upped" because I only did a half marathon, but I am totally okay with that! Running has never been "my thing" but Jess asked if I wanted to do a half marathon, and for some reason, I said yes. I have no clue what I was thinking. It did feel good to finish it! I did it in 2 hours and 9 minutes which is about a 10 minute mile pace. It was probably one of the HARDEST things I have EVER done! I ran a good portion of the way with Jessica. Josh was signed up to run but got sick right before. But, he was still at the finish line to cheer me on! I have never been more sore in my life either! Sunday and today have been the most painful days I have ever experienced! I am walking around like a grandma! Here are some pictures... enjoy! Halloween Half

This is what I have been doing lately...

As many of you know, I have been training for a half marathon. It has been lots of work, and with school, it has definitely taken up lots of time. I am so excited! It is this Saturday in Provo. I am running it with Jessica and Josh, and we are all stoked! Let's just hope we don't die!

I Am Not Getting Any Better at This!

I have been SO busy, and blogging has kind of been on the list of "less importants"! Not just because I am now a teacher, and I never have time to even think, but I also am not even sure anyone really reads this! HAHA! So here is a short update. Parent/Teacher conferences were this week, and it was the roughest week yet! So so so busy! Thanks to all those who helped me out! Then, it was my birthday on the last day of conferences, so, lucky me, I got to be at school for over 12 hours that day! My students, friends, and family made my birthday so special! Mom even threw me a surprise party! So, when I got home from school at about 8:45, I came home to a house full of people! It was such a fun surprise, and I felt so loved! Keep in mind that it was a crazy week, which is why I look pretty tired in these pictures!

Iowa!

My high school best friend got married about a month ago! So, my mom and I flew out for the wedding! I was able to be a bride's maid and that was a lot of fun! It was so good to see people in Iowa! Wish I could visit more often!

So... ever since I moved to Utah, I have been dancing. I decided that country dancing is one of my very favorite things to do... ever! I never thought that would happen! I am still not all that good at it and have been going for a long time, but I still love it! Here are some pictures from last week. Eric wanted to see some pictures so Nate helped me out and we got a couple good ones! And, the last picture is all of my cousins that I go dancing with! It's like a family reunion every week!

So, I haven't had very many close friends in Plain City that are girls. Jessica and I started going to the gym together and we became best friends! Then, she left me for Mexico for a few months, sad story, I KNOW! But, she will be back, and I am sure she is doing a great job teaching! BUT, I miss her!

Revenge of the Nerds

If you didn't already know, I am the activities cochair in my branch and so I am in charge of the activities! I also love love to dance! So I decided that I was going to plan a dance no matter what anyone else thought! We invited a bunch of stakes and wards, but I was still worried there wouldn't be anyone there! There ended up being about 150 people there and we had a BLAST! It was so much fun! So, here are some pictures... and yes... I already know I looked hott! hahaha

WOW I have been busy! Thank goodness for Spring Break!

I have been quite busy recently! I started a teaching job... just a long-term sub job, and so life has been much busier! It's been challenging, but I love teaching! I will continue to teach this class until May 17th. Here are a few pictures of what's been going on in my life over the last almost 2 months.
